Doxi Jones is the aftermath of a snow storm at the prime time of a spring day in New York City. The offspring of a saxophone player and a dream chaser, her world has not been short of substantive while full of blessings in disguise. At the time of Doxi's birth, her 18 year old mother and 21 year old father were determined to make it in the music industry. Despite embracing all the extraordinary things that came with growing up in a household where music was held as divinity, Doxi's upbringing was undeniably influenced by the struggles and instability that come along with the life style.

Doxi Jones spent her childhood as a rolling stone; moving from one relative's house to the other while her parents continued their journey to shoot for the stars. Doxi's mother traveled the world performing with artists like Chaka Khan, while her father moved from coast to coast playing the saxophone. Eventually, Doxi moved in with her grandparents. Their backyard became Doxi's oasis as a child. It was there where she shared and fostered tears, smiles, passion, and the love for the only thing that had remained constant in her life: music.

As a teenager living in San Francisco, surrounded by the liberal, multicultural, and influential facets of the Bay area, Doxi felt a void. In her search to fill that empty space she fell in an abyss of rebellion, dishonest friendships and vacillating love affairs. Whether it was imprinted in her DNA, or simply an inherited trait from the family jewels, music always remained. In fact, music, although within and without her at all times, was the factor she searched for all along. And although music, kidnapped her parents, it granted her a stage to develop passion for the arts, and bequeathed her with pivotal accolades including a scholarship to the Youth Music Program at UC Berkley where she studied cello and voice for six years; awards from Stanford University's Youth Jazz Program; participation in the Grammy Youth Choir; and a Scholarship to the Berklee College of Music at the age of 14. Such love/hate relationship with music became her antagonist, as she continuously lost her parents to it; and her haven as she vented to her notepad through lyrics and poetry.

Doxi's education and experience provided her with immeasurable familiarity and knowledge of the many aspects of the music industry. After overcoming many struggles and winning several battles, Doxi reached a higher level of maturity and became more experienced at living. She found strength in herself, her talent and her passion for music while initiating the establishment of the structure of her calling and going forward with pursuing her dreams.

Thus far, her efforts have lead to a tremendous leap forward into what has become a whirlwind of growth, amazing experiences, and continuous success. The fruits of her evolution, her zeal for music and her drive for achievement are the major elements fueling her progression as an artist, and ultimately as a person. For that reason, Doxi remains active in the community. Through her involvement with The Go Candy Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the empowerment of young women, the phenomenal talent utilizes her struggles and triumphs as tools to educate, serve as a mentor and role model to other young girls.

Doxi Jones is ready to break the mold and rise to higher levels as an artist. Her style is controversial, stylish, and bold. Her persona is sexy yet simultaneously soft, mysterious and intriguing. Her voice has a rhapsodic power that captivates, and her talent is vehement and unquestionable. Doxi's act promises to revolutionize Pop culture and the industry itself.
